Demokritos serves as the Leader of Work Package 4 – Ovarian Cancer Risk Assessment, of the DISARM project, aiming to stratify individuals according to their calculated risk of developing the disease by calibrating genetic and non-genetic (multifactorial) tools, while also providing personalised genetic counselling.
Demokritos is also participating in Work Package 2 (Task 2.1) and has the leading role in assembling the current scientific data along with identifying gaps in ovarian cancer research that DISARM can fulfil.
