Brief biography of partner
The 1st Health Region of Attica (1st YPE) is a regional public authority responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of healthcare and social care services across Central and Eastern Attica. Established under Law 3527/2007 and headquartered in Athens, it supervises a broad network of providers, including hospitals, primary care units, and social care services. The organisation contributes to health system governance by supporting policy implementation, monitoring service delivery, and advising the Ministry of Health on measures to enhance the efficiency and quality of care.
Role in the project
1st YPE integrates explicitly into the project activities from the perspective of the policy maker, with important contributions in health technology assessment, co-creation of innovative financial schemes, and the roadmap for adoption by national healthcare systems.
