DISARM Citizen Awareness Campaign
DISARM’s Citizen Awareness Campaign places citizens at the heart of the conversation
We aim to create an open, inclusive space where women, families, patient advocates, and community organizations can access clear, trustworthy information and feel confident discussing their health concerns. By encouraging dialogue and breaking down stigma around gynaecological health, the campaign fosters a culture in which seeking medical advice early is seen as proactive and empowering.
Importantly, the campaign is designed to be accessible and welcoming to everyone, regardless of their medical background or prior knowledge of gynaecological health.
Active participation is central to our approach
Through community events, digital initiatives, educational materials, and collaborations with local stakeholders, we invite citizens not only to receive information but also to engage with it, by asking questions, sharing experiences, and spreading awareness within their own networks. We will work together with patient associations, healthcare professionals, and civil society groups, to build a strong, informed community that supports early action and informed decision-making.
Our campaign also translates scientific progress into practical knowledge that people can understand and use. By making research outcomes accessible and relevant to everyday life, we help bridge the gap between innovation and real-world impact. We invite you to be part of this movement.
Follow our activities, participate in our initiatives, and help us amplify the message within your community. Whether you are a patient, family member, advocate, healthcare professional, or simply interested in supporting greater awareness around gynaecological health, your voice matters.
If you would like to learn more about the Citizen Awareness Campaign, collaborate on future activities, or explore opportunities to get involved, we encourage you to get in touch with the relevant DISARM partners.
